Quality Policy

We at INTECS are committed to achieve total client satisfaction by adapting itself to understand and meet evolving client expectations by adopting applicable National / International Standards, Codes / Statutory regulations to reflect on quality of the Civil & Mechanical Woks, E&I services delivered to the client.


Our management system is structured and blended keeping into consideration the context of the organization, interested party’s needs, process risk and mitigation of internal and external issues.


As an organization we shall strive to continually improve all the processes by effective implementation of Quality Management Systems, involving all levels of employees and associates.


Drugs & Alcohol Policy

To establish measures to prevent drugs and/or alcohol abuse INTECS will


  • make staff aware of the detrimental effects of drugs and alcohol on personal and team performance.

  • In-patient Hospitalization• forbid the possession of drugs (except those prescribed by a doctor) on company premises.

  • forbid the use and possession of alcohol/drugs in the workplace or in company owned property.

  • monitor staff for visible impairment in the workplace and establish appropriate response measures.

  • when investigating incidents, consider the potential link between the incident and drugs/alcohol.


These measures relate to the workplace and to company related activities only.


Whilst it is recognized that the employees’ private life is and must remain their own, INTECS management trust that the code of conduct applied in the workplace is reflected in the non-work environment.


Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all areas under the INTECS controlled entities. This includes INTECS offices, buildings, project sites, and vehicles parking etc. with the exception of designated smoking areas as hereinafter described.


Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas. No one may smoke along any pathway or walkway leading to or from the designated smoking area. No visible evidence of smoking habit such as empty packets or cigarette ends shall be left in these areas at the surrounding of the company premises.


Employees will not be permitted to smoke whilst carrying out their duties and responsibilities for INTECS.


Failure to comply with above will lead to Company HSE disciplinary action or removal from site. Employees who wish to smoke may do so in their own time during tea or lunch breaks at designated smoking areas only.


  

HSE Policy

We, at INTECS, recognize that high standards of health, safety and environmental protection are integral for the growth of the organization and its people. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and preventing any untoward incidents, accidents, injury and/or ill-health of employees, contractors, visitor and other relevant interested parties. We also aim to take adequate measures to protect the environment and prevent environmental pollution.


Our commitment is achieved through:


  • Promoting positive culture towards occupational health, safety and environment,

  • Conducting comprehensive context, hazard, aspect and impact assessments for each project and implementing the necessary controls to reduce risks to as low as reasonably practicable.

  • Determining and communicating roles and responsibilities and ensure its communicated to concerned persons.

  • Provide safe and secured working conditions and prevent all injuries and ill-health at the workplace.

  • Conserve natural resources, through adopting environmentally friendly and energy efficient technology and process improvements. The Company is committed to adopt the principles of waste avoidance, reuse and recycling.

  • Developing a mechanism to identify and review goals HSE objectives and key performance indicators aiming for continual improvement.

  • To comply with relevant health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, industry standards or any other applicable legal requirements.

  • Ensuring that employees are competent to conduct their assigned tasks by providing awareness and training programs.

  • Promote a positive HSE culture within our organization through effective communication, participation and consultation with employees in the workplace.

  • Investigating accidents, emergencies, disasters and crisis situations in order to prevent it from recurrence.
